Gabriele Gorelli

Master of Wine - Italy

In February 2021 he was declared Italy’s first Master of Wine. He regularly attends national and international wine competitions as a presenter and judge

Gabriele is a wine expert, designer and brand builder born and raised in Montalcino, Tuscany. In February 2021 he was declared Italy’s first Master of Wine. Gabriele can trace his wine roots back to his grandfather, the smallest renowned producer of Brunello di Montalcino. With a degree in foreign languages and a strong passion for marketing, in 2004, he founded Brookshaw&Gorelli, a design agency specialising in fine wine visual communication. In 2015, he founded a separate wine sales and marketing consultancy company, KH Wines, with clients ranging from wineries to importers and fine dining restaurants. He regularly attends national and international wine competitions as a presenter and judge. Gabriele speaks Italian, English and French with basic proficiency in German. Gabriele is an avid traveller and likes to disconnect and recharge his batteries with trail running and practising Ashtanga yoga.

Justin Knock

Master of Wine - London

He is currently the Regional Chair for Australia for the Decanter World Wine Awards

Director of Wine – Oenogroup, a luxury wine company based in the City of London with business arms for private collectors (OenoFuture), restaurants and retailers (OenoTrade) and consumers (OenoHouse), and where he manages a team that sources the world's very best wines wherever they can be reliably found. He has a diverse wine industry background, employed for ten years with Treasury Wine Estates as a winemaker in Australia and resident winemaker based in London, working across the EMEA region managing education, marketing and PR. For more than ten years he has run his own free-lance consultancy business working in wine buying, blending, bulk shipping and in-market packaging from the New World for the UK and Scandinavian markets. He was a co-owner of Philglas & Swiggot (London Fine Wine Retailer) and former Director of the California Wine Institute UK and Ireland. Over many years he has been a contributor to the Institute of Masters of Wine Education Program and is currently the Regional Chair for Australia for the Decanter World Wine Awards. Justin has made wine in McLaren Vale, the Hunter Valley, Margaret River and the Yarra Valley as well as in France and Spain, and has been UK-based since 2004 becoming a Master of Wine in 2010. His dissertation was on 'How important is the concept of regionality to the sales and marketing of Australian wine in the UK?’

Christophe Heynen

Master of Wine - Belgium

He holds a WSET Diploma and obtained the title of Master of Wine (MW) in 2020, considered the most prestigious professional recognitions in the wine industry

Christophe is currently based in Belgium with his wife and two children; he was raised and lived in Belgium, the USA and Switzerland.
He is founder and managing director of Gustoworld Belgium, owner and board member of several wine import companies in France, Luxembourg and Belgium. His main company, Gustoworld is a well-known, leading fine wine importer with extensive activity, notably in Belgium and France. In 2019, Gustoworld became the first wine importer in these countries to be certified fully C02-neutral.
Christophe is an alumni of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Switzerland, from which he graduated in 1998 with a BSc in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HES). After a carrier in the hospitality industry in Canada and the USA, Christophe returned to Europe and began his professional life in wine within his own company. Christophe has always been socially engaged in favor of entrepreneurship and was president of an important organization supporting new entrepreneurs named “Réseau Entreprendre” for several years. Christophe also lectured about wine in several of Belgium’s most prestigious business clubs and schools, and has judged at several wine competitions. He hast trained several of the world’s leading sommeliers in the run to the last Best Sommelier of the World title (2019).
He holds a WSET Diploma and obtained the title of Master of Wine (MW) in 2020, considered the most prestigious professional recognitions in the wine industry. His research paper leading to the MW title concerned crowdfunding for winery investments, and combines Christophe’s passion for finance and wine.
Christophe was recently named wine personality of the year in November 2020 by Essentielle Vino, Belgium’s largest wine dedicated publication following his title.
