Filippo Saporito

President JRE Italia - Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe

In 2016 La Leggenda dei Frati was awarded the prestigious Michelin star

Filippo Saporito's propensity for the profession of Chef was born at an early age through an instinct and a strong attraction to the taste and transformation of ingredients. Filippo himself says that he has always had a good ability to work ingredients with his hands, and a strong curiosity in testing different tastes: "I have always been a great glutton, always looking to savour new tastes: my mother Sestilia still remembers when, when I was very young, she took me to the hospital after I had drunk a bottle of syrup with relish that I had reached in the pantry with the help of two chairs to arrive at the highest shelf, attracted by the sweet taste of strawberry ... I'm sure that it was this voracity and curiosity in eating that led me to choose to attend a hotel management school where I then met my companion in adventure." The Chef collaborates with his wife Ombretta Giovannini, who has been by his side since the time of the hotel management school, and from there after some experiences in Germany, United states and France to the kitchen of the Arnolfo Restaurant, the most significant professional experience that was a watershed in the chef's career. “They were wonderful years with the two brothers, I learned a lot, also to combine another trait that unites me with them, namely the dual Tuscan and Sicilian roots that, like them, I also carry in my DNA" says chef Saporito. And perhaps the Arnolfo experience is still the one that ideally illuminates him in the management of his restaurant. In 2016 La Leggenda dei Frati was awarded the prestigious Michelin star and since 2019 Filippo Saporito has been President of JRE Italy.

Virtual Rags is a Digital Fashion Studio from Saint Petersburg, Russia that specialises in 3D modelling, digital design and AR technologies.
Our mission is helping to build, let’s say, runways between physical clothing, with its, as you know, limited reality, and law-breaking digital concepts by means of 3D visualization, motion design and creation of graphic envinronments where fabrics and styles play the leading roles.
We are in charge of techs, fashion and Art find love for each other and become the One. Our team offers solutions in developing 3D models for all kinds of items for purposes ranging from marketing to actual manufacturing, custom tailoring, or 3D printing. We started our journey almost two years ago and since then have been honored and blessed to build creative relationships with brands and individual designers from all over the world.
We are not only about executing the concrete tasks, but we’re also always helping to broaden the creative concepts — if necessary. Our main clients are fashion houses, brands, our main channels of interacting with the world — fashion magazines and fashion marketing agencies because they reflect our visual interests and it’s valuable for them to work with us as well. You know that fashion makes a huge step to the new future, technologies, NFT culture, and that’s why we can be interesting for them. But in order for all this to work for us, the Metaverse needs its own infrastructure, which we create on our planet with the tools available to us. We, as a 3D Fashion Studio, are helping to build it in this area, and we are solving some of the problems of the industry so far in our reality, but we’ll deal with other new formations in other Meta-worlds soon.
